OK, I have what may seem like a strange question.  We are planning a VERY open adoption with our birth mom, since she is a friend of the family.  She already knew our names and where we lived before we even talked to her.  She is wanting to come to our state to have the baby, which means we will have to provide somewhere for her to stay.  She is planning on coming 2 weeks before her due date.

My question is.....what are you thoughts about her staying with us?  I just can't bear the thought of her sitting in a hotel room by herself for the largest part of 2 weeks.  I know it could be weird, but I also think it would be wonderful for her to see how we are already preparing for the baby and how excited we are.  

Also, if she does stay with us, what do I do about after the baby is born?  She will probably have to stay in our state for a few days after she is discharged from the hospital, just until she is ready to travel home.  At that point, should I pay for a hotel for her?  Any advice would be GREATLY appreciated!!!
